Southern Indiana Eats 'n Treats 3rd Birthday
It’s hard to believe that we are celebrating 3 years of Southern Indiana Eats ‘n Treats.
Thinking back to the planning phase, we remember sketching out on a piece of paper our ideas of a food, dessert and beverage publication. We knew there were several locally owned and operated spots that people in the community did not know about. Working with small businesses throughout Southern Indiana for years, we understand the challenges of branding and growing businesses. We believed that we could help local business owners, as well as provide a resource to our community. Like our other publication, Coffee News Sunny Side, our mission is to offer affordable advertising solutions while providing great information to Southern Indiana. Without the experience and success of Coffee News Sunny Side, we would not have been able to pursue this venture.
The continued success of both of our publications is attributed to several things, including the support from the community. We enjoy participating in the local events from wine walks, strolls, light ups and holiday events; It’s a great way to connect with our readers. The power of social media has allowed us to engage even more with locals and increase the readership of Eats ‘n Treats. Being members of Develop New Albany, Jeffersonville Main Street and One Southern Indiana provides us opportunities to mix and mingle throughout Southern Indiana.
We have been fortunate to have great partners and advertisers of our Eats ‘n Treats publication. They have played an important role in the continued success and it is great to see their businesses grow.
We believe that you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with. We are blessed to have some of the most talented people around us, from our team to our family members that help us along the way. Our success is truly a group effort and although our team is small, we have achieved more than imagined a few years ago.
The last 3 years have been a great journey and we are looking forward to what is on the horizon. There are so many amazing things taking place all over Southern Indiana, we are excited for what the future holds.
All the best,
Josh & Kristina Stubblefield
